Sunrise

Sunrise is a cozy puzzle-platformer game where your aim is to collect enough light to make the sun rise for the very first time.

You play as Lumos, a little orb of light working its way through the world to collect Sun-spots and progressing through the level system. As Lumos collects more light, he gains access to more abilities to maneuver through his space, and eventually find the sun.

Core Mechanics

• You will smoothly be moving around in the 2D platform world with jumps, and simple WASD movement.
• You gradually unlock abilities, each of which has limited uses to puzzle your way through each of the levels.
• You move through the levels charging yourself with solar energy, which allows you to then unlock the finish point and move to the next level.

Ability Rundown

Ability 1: Ground stomp.

You slam into the ground, growing a tree beneath you to gain verticality.

Ability 2: Light Dash

Lotus flowers around the levels can be used to propel yourself, dashing through the air further and faster than jumping or movement would allow.

Ability 3: Lotus Bloom

You can shoot seeds that form new lotuses when making contact with points on the map. You can use these lotuses as sources for your Light Dash!
